Members of the University of Bradford’s new Cycling Club have signed up to join cyclists from across the district to ride 500 miles to Germany and back for the 11th Bradford To Hamm Charity Bike Ride.
The event is for Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure, which provides sporting and leisure opportunities for disabled people and their families in Bradford.
The club’s president Jay Uphadyay, vice-president Ian Linley, and club members Adam Tasker, Liz Hough, Gareth Helliwell and Ajmal Rashid will be taking part in the ride, which will be held from June 10 to 17 next year.
The group hope to raise £3,000 between to add to the overall effort.
