A three-day inquest will start in Bradford tomorrow into the death of a workman killed when a trench collapsed on him.
Andrew Lancaster, 23, had been working to fix drainage problems at a development of homes at West Royde, off Bingley Road, in Heaton, Bradford, on October 18 last year.
Rescuers from the emergency services battled for almost seven hours to free his body after tons of earth and hard-core caved in on him. At the opening of the inquest it was heard that Mr Lancaster, of Calverley, had died from head injuries.
