‘Reindeer’ will race through Saltaire as part of a festive fun run in aid of Epilepsy Action.

The Yeadon-based charity is urging runners to don antlers for its Reindeer Stampede, on Sunday, December 11, which will take a 5km-circular route around Roberts Park in Saltaire.

It is open to anyone aged eight and over and there will be a mini-Reindeer Stampede for youngsters aged under eight.

The charity is hosting its second stampede following the success of the inaugural event which had to be held in the new year because it was delayed from before Christmas due to icy conditions.

Michael White, fundraising events officer at Epilepsy Action, said: “The Reindeer Stampede is a fantastically festive event suitable for all the family."
