Celebrity Big Brother contestant Darryn Lyons has been confirmed as one of the guests at Bradford charity One In A Million’s Stars Awards.

And Australian Darryn has said he will give part of his fee from the show to the charity, based at Valley Parade and co-founded by former Bradford City assistant manager Wayne Jacobs.

The photo agency boss has been confirmed as one of the celebrity guests at the third annual Stars Awards at Bradford Grammar School on Saturday, October 22.

Paul Langton, One in a Million operations manager, said: “We’d like to thank Darryn for all the support he’s given us and for making the time to come and share this special evening with us.

“We’re really excited about all the support we are getting across Bradford and nationally.

“Billy Bingham, of Synergy People, introduced Darryn to our charity.

“Billy, based at the club, has been a supported of the charity for a number of years taking part in fundraising events.

“Last year he did the Leeds 10k for One in a Million dressed as Billy Bantam and did the whole thing in the full suit.

“We really appreciate all our supporters like Billy, Darryn and many others who give something back and in doing so make a real, lasting difference to young lives across Bradford.”

Other confirmed guests at the ceremony include former Great Britain and Bradford Bulls coach Brian Noble and actor Tom Milner, who appears in Waterloo Road. BBC Radio Leeds’ Derm Tanner will once again be the compare.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, at £35 or £50 (standard or corporate). For further information, call Mr Langton on (01274) 723439 or e-mail info@oneinamillion.org.uk.
