Positive Bradford was declared a resounding success today after hundreds of people poured into Centenary Square to see the best the city has to offer.
Nearly 200 businesses joined the city’s creative talent for the first seven-hour event which showcased the best of Bradford and also saw college students break a world record for making the world’s largest onion bhaji.
Singers, dancers and prominent figures, including the Bishop of Bradford, the Right Reverend Nick Baines, packed the main stage in the square throughout the day to lend their support.

Acts included 18-year-old singer Bella Gaffney, who performed her aptly titled Centenary Square song to the packed crowd.
Dancers Kala Sangam, a group of Eastern European Romanian gypsies and the Jaipur Kawa Brass Band also performed.
