With three days to go to the Bradford City Run, people have been reminded there is still time to sign up.
More than 1,500 competitors are expected to take part in the road race on Sunday, organisers have revealed.
Postal and online entries closed on Monday but last-minute entries can be made by visiting the starting point near the Alhambra Theatre in the city centre on the day of the run, before 8.30am.
The 13.1-mile race begins at 9am outside the Alhambra before heading through Thornton and Denholme and finishing at Lister Park.
A fun run in Lister Park will take place from 9am to 10am with registration opening at 8.15am.
Councillor Ghazanfer Khaliq, Bradford Council’s executive member responsible for sport and leisure, said: “The City Run is a great event and I wish all the competitors the very best of luck.
“The route showcases the district really well by starting in the city centre, heading through the countryside and ending in Lister Park, one of the best parks in the country.
“There can’t be many more picturesque half-marathons around and the views across the countryside would definitely be worth all the effort.
“If you fancy a more leisurely morning, you can always join the Lister Park fun run.”
Entry to the half-marathon, which is open to anyone aged 17 and older, costs £18. Fun-run entry costs £6 for adults and £4 for children.
Half-marathon runners are reminded to bring the event number and timing chip they received on registration with them to the event, or they could be charged £5 for a replacement chip.
The run’s official charity partner this year is The Jane Tomlinson Appeal, which raises funds for children’s and cancer charities across Yorkshire, the UK and around the world.
