A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article after a gang of men were involved in a disturbance in the centre of Bradford this morning.
Up to 20 people were involved in the trouble, outside an independent insurance brokers in Rawson Place.
A knife was recovered from the scene by police, but there were no reports of anyone being injured.
Police said they were called at 10.40am to reports of a disturbance involving a number of men in Darley Street.
Witnesses said the dispute involved about 15 to 20 people. Police were called and four police vehicles arrived at the scene.
The witnesses said officers arrived as a group of men tried to enter the premises, and they were escorted away from the scene.
The shop’s manager did not wish to comment.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of a bladed article and was in custody tonight. The weapon was being forensically examined.
