Masked raiders threatened a 46-year-old woman with an axe and a stun gun then tied her up during a robbery at her home.
A substantial amount of cash was stolen from the house in Burnwells, off Thackley Road, Thackley, during the daylight raid.
Police said the woman’s hands were bound during the “terrifying ordeal”.
The woman had been alone in the house when the gang forced their way in.
They drove off in her silver Range Rover, which was later discovered abandoned in Falkland Road, Ravenscliffe, Bradford.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the robbery, which took place between 1.20pm and 1.40pm on Friday.
The woman remained too upset by her ordeal to comment when contacted by the Telegraph & Argus over the weekend.
Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, urged anyone who might have seen the Range Rover being abandoned to contact police. He said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for a lone woman to suffer in her own home. Thankfully she is uninjured but is extremely shocked by what occurred.
“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Burnwells and Thackley Road area.
“I would also urge anyone to come forward who saw the silver Range Rover being abandoned on Falkland Road.”
All the men were wearing balaclava masks and dark clothing, and one appeared to have a blackened left eye.
Anyone with information should contact Airedale and North Bradford CID on 0845 6060606.
