A Bradford fundraiser packed a punch for Cancer Research UK by unveiling the charity’s breast cancer awareness and fundraising campaign called: “Join the fight for women’s survival”.
Every year about 324 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the Bradford area and the disease affects 48,000 women in the UK.
Figures show that across the UK incidence rates for breast cancer have risen in recent years.
Natasha Howe donned pink boxing gloves to highlight the fundraising challenge to the people of Bradford. The 26-year-old is enlisting the help of as many people as possible to organise pink themed fundraising events of their own to raise money for more research.
