Colin Todd is demanding points rather than praise against Port Vale tomorrow.
The City boss is getting fed up with the opposition saying how well his team have played - after they've beaten them.
So despite a performance that was not a patch on their efforts at Brentford and Swansea, Todd was relieved to see City emerge with a point against Carlisle.
Now he wants to improve on that with a first win in five games against Vale at Valley Parade.
"I get disappointed with people saying good things about us when we've got nothing to show for it," said Todd.
"Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Swansea all claimed we were by far the best side they've played.
"We weren't so good on Tuesday and one or two dropped below their usual standards but we dug deep to get something. Now I'd like to think we can get the winning habit back tomorrow."
But Todd, who will give a late test to winger Lee Holmes, admitted that City will have to pick up their game against a side currently sitting in third spot.
He added: "We had a spell in the second half against Carlisle that was the worst we've played all season in terms of lacking cohesion and togetherness.
"But we could have collapsed after they scored with a sloppy goal and didn't and we managed to come through that difficult period.
"All right, you've got to win your home games, but after two good performances had ended with nothing, it was vital we got some reward."
