A woman is raising funds to help her nephews and nieces stay in touch after their family was torn apart by the sudden death of their mother.
Angela Burgess, 36, died earlier this year from a brain aneurysm.
After her death, her two-year-old son Byron moved in with his father, an international lorry driver, in Holland.
His siblings, nine-year-old Danica, and Joshua, seven, moved in with their father, Dave Nasey.
Sister Jade, 17, remained in the family home.
Now Angela's sister, Linda Bristow, 45, of Bradford, is hoping a sponsored cycle along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal by a team of Bradford Trident Wardens will help pay for flights for the children to Holland.
Mrs Bristow said: "It is very important the family stays in touch. They have lost their mother and now have been separated from each other."
Wardens Dibbs Storey, 44, and Kath Stone, 37, were hoping to complete the 128-mile ride today.
Miss Stone said: "We are looking to raise £1,000 and it seems as though we might reach it."
Angela, who was born in Bradford, was the youngest of seven children.
The family moved to Leeds when she was 11.
The former civil servant carried a donor card and her organs were used to save the lives of five people. Mrs Bristow said: "She lives on through her gift of life to others. There are five people walking around because of her, and not just them, it has helped their families too."
