A 28-year-old man was killed yesterday after his motorcycle collided with a car.
The collision between the red Fiat Punto and a red Suzuki motorcycle happened on Huddersfield Road at its junction with Whitehall Road in Wyke.
A West Yorkshire police spokesman said: "The Punto was turning right into Whitehall Road when it was in collision with the motorcycle, which was travelling from Brighouse.
"The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old local man was pronounced dead at the scene."
Officers appealed for witnesses to the incident which happened at 10.45pm.
