Display driver Russ Swift is synonymous with the MINI brand.
Slotting the motor in between two cars with inches to spare is a precision performance he has spent years perfecting.
And Russ was only too happy to demonstrate the skill he has turned into a profession – performing all over the world with his precision driving team – at JCT 600’s re-launched MINI garage in Sticker Lane, Bradford.
Russ entertained the crowds as he drove his MINI Cooper S on two wheels and showed off the parallel parking manoeuvre which has earned him one of three Guinness World records.
Russ says he was delighted to be asked to help the recently extended garage celebrate its re-launch at the MINI-themed event. “It’s a nice local one for me and there is a JCT link as well because the guy who I navigated for is a good friend of Jack Tordoff,” says Russ.
Zak Hunter, 12, from Sheffield won the chance to be Russ’ passenger, as he performed his breath-taking stunts, in an auction for the national charity, Dreams Come True.
