Applause Theatre School is desperately seeking a Mother Superior. The Bradford theatre school has just ended its run of Pirates Of Penzance, at Batley Town Hall, and is already looking ahead to its production of Nunsense, which stars Amanda Harris, Rachael Shaw, Hannah Butterfield and Georgia Hitch.
The show is a riotous comedy about five nuns and, to complete the cast, the production team needs someone to play the Mother Superior, Sister Mary Regina.
“It would suit someone with a great sense of fun, the ability to act and sing and dance a bit,” says Amanda. “They would need to come to rehearsals every week, on Thursdays until July 7.”
The show runs at Clayton Baptist Church from July 14 to 16. Applause is also holding a summer school at the church from August 1 to 5. For details, call 07711 955950 or e-mail info@applausetheatre school.co.uk.
