Local bands are warming up for the Guiseley Station Music Festival. This is the eighth festival and in previous years it has raised funds for charities including Teenage Cancer Trust, Macmillan Nurses, the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes. Funds from this year’s event will go to charities including Guiseley in Bloom and MoorMums.
The festival is on Sunday at the Station Hotel car park, and kicks off at 1pm with a performance by World Class Intermediates. The line-up also includes Guiseley singer Andy Doonan, accompanied by his band The Lightwalks; Claymore Avenue, featuring Yeadon singers Tamar Hall and Adam Prince; Johnson House; Memphis Storm; Littlemores; Roxyrama and covers band Remember Hillards.
Station Hotel manager Tony McCaul says: “There’s no admittance fee, but we expect those attending to dig deep and donate for our charities. Please give generously – the bands give up their time so that we can donate a hefty sum to charity.”
