Fans of the BBC’s Bang Goes The Theory will be in for a treat when the popular science programme brings its roadshow to Bradford for the opening weekend of the festival.
The explosive show’s team of presenters will be bringing their stage show and an interactive area to the city on Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11.
Young fans of the show will be able to put their science questions to the presenters over the two-day period.
The television show is popular among children and adults alike, enthused by its exciting but educational way of testing scientific theory and showing how science shapes our world.
Festival director Sue Hordijenko said: “Bang Goes The Theory will be holding its roadshow at the event, so the people who do the programme will be coming along and doing live performances, which will be free so families can come along and enjoy it.”
The live show will be held at St George’s Hall, while the interactive tent, which will be open all day and does not require tickets, will be put up in Centenary Square.
