An internationally-renowned lute player has given a musical lesson to children.
Pupils at Springwood Community Primary School in Manningham, Bradford, were entertained by Jacob Heringman, who was performing for children to tie in with their medieval studies about castles.
Mr Heringman’s music has featured on the soundtracks of Hollywood films such as the third Harry Potter film, Kingdom of Heaven and Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood.
He lives on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and teaches the lute at Trinity College of Music in London and at York University.
