A Coronation Street actor will attend a fun day for a Keighley-based cancer support group.
Shipley-based Steve Huison, who has filmed his final scenes as loveable rogue Eddie Windass in the TV soap, will be at the Flappit pub at Cullingworth on Saturday, June 4, from noon. The event will raise money for the recently-formed Families in Support of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness.
Jayne Pickard, of Haworth, set up the group following the death of her father Bob from the disease last year.
The fun day will feature music, an auction, a bouncy castle, face painting, a beautician doing nails and facials, and a jewellery stall. Details are available from just_jayne01@hotmail.com
