From fly fishing to fighter planes, there was something for everyone at Saturday’s ever-popular Otley Show.
An estimated 15,000 people attended the 202nd show, which is the oldest one-day agricultural event in the country.
Popular attractions included donkey rides, a tug-of-war, show-jumping, a ferret show and the appearance of The Battle of Britain Experience’s display Spitfire. A music marquee with acts performing throughout the day drew a “huge crowd”, show secretary Janet Raw said.
She added: “It went very well indeed. The weather was just ideal, the sun was shining in the morning so people made up their mind to come. It was never cold. The amount of people we had in that showground was unbelievable.”
