A fly-tipping hot-spot was given a clean sweep by housing and council teams.
Staff at social housing group Incommunities joined forces with Bradford Council’s neighbourhood wardens to take away eight van-loads of dumped rubbish from a cleared former housing site at Fallowfield Gardens, in Bierley, Bradford.
They were also joined by two teams of Community Pay Back volunteers who helped take litter away.
The litter hot spot, which has concrete barriers in front of it, was identified as part of regular inspections of the area by Incommunities housing staff.
Anna Fryer, director of Incommunities covering the East Bradford area said: “Incommunities is committed to helping keep its neighbourhoods tidy and safe for everyone.”
Anyone who sees rubbish being dumped in the area should (01274) 257200 with details including the registration number of any vehicles involved.
All information received will be treated confidentially and followed up which could involve legal action against the perpetrators.
