Police and ambulance crews at the accident scene in Church Street
A pensioner who died following a road accident in Ilkley has been named as Elizabeth Fergusson Pennock.
The 82-year-old, of Bridge Lane, Ilkley, died in Leeds General Infirmary yesterday after suffering severe leg injuries in a collision with a van in Church Street on the afternoon of Thursday, May 12.
An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned in Bradford today.
Police shut off the A65 between Brook Street and Bolton Bridge Road following the accident, near the Box Tree restaurant.
