Eleanor Hemingway
A schoolgirl who has appeared in several television dramas will be crowned Pudsey Carnival Queen this weekend.
Eleanor Hemingway, 11, has been in TV dramas such as The Royal, Heartbeat, Emmerdale, Spooks and South Riding. A student at Scala Performing Arts School in Horsforth, she applied to be carnival queen because she had never been a bridesmaid and always wanted to wear a pretty dress.
On Saturday, the Greenside Primary School pupil will lead the carnival procession from Queens Park, Pudsey, at noon.
