Celebrity chef Paul Rankin was at the University of Bradford cooking lunch for staff and students to provide the inspiration for its menus for the next six months.

The Michelin star chef was also serving lunch to customers in the university restaurant yesterday.

The Ready Steady Cook chef, pictured, worked alongside chefs in the morning to create a menu based around a range of signature dishes.

Mr Rankin said: “I remember my university days well and I never had facilities like the ones at the University of Bradford .”

The university has entered into a contract with Sodexo, to deliver first-rate catering for conferencing and events, as well as staff and students.

Sodexo group manager Trish Cannon said: “Working with Paul is always a pleasure. It’s not every day you have a celebrity chef cooking and serving you lunch.”
