A ‘green’ home in Ben Rhydding has been shortlisted for a prestigious design award.
Apple Hayes, a more environmentally-friendly five-bedroom house, has been nominated for regional finals by the Royal Institute of British Architects.
The property is one of nine in Yorkshire to be shortlisted and, if successful, will be considered for the ultimate prize in architecture, the RIBA Stirling Prize.
Designed by Ilkley architects Sense of Space, the detached house on Ben Rhydding Drive, has already been praised by Ilkley Civic Society. It was built by another Ilkley company Landmarks (UK).
