Sixty-four pupils at Hothfield Junior School, Silsden, have had a hands-on look at what their futures might hold.
A careers taster day was organised by Education Bradford, which invited employers to introduce a variety of jobs.
Represented were West Yorkshire Police, Cinetic Landis, the Royal Navy and Marines, Serco, Fitness First, Karen Ross Photographers and Leeds City College hairdressing department.
Hothfield head teacher Ruth Leech said: “The value of events such as these are invaluable and encourage our children to have aspirations for their own futures.
“This is the second year we have run this event and I cannot praise it enough.”
Looking into the police role are (from left) Billy Watson, Matthew Griffiths, Bethany Richardson and Courtney Hancock
