The owner of a Cullingworth brewery has bought the George Hotel in the village.
Chris Thompson plans to sell beers from his own Old Spot Brewery.
He said: “We wish to provide a comfortable relaxing atmosphere.
“I intend to sell guest ales and fine lagers, hopefully along with traditional quality locally-sourced food.
“I am the fourth generation living in the village and really want to provide an old community pub feeling.”
Old Spot Brewery was set up in 2005 at Manor Farm, in Station Road, and was named after an old sheepdog.
In the past the brewery has created special ales for the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi and Queensbury Music Festival.
