A Bradford band have been feeling the blues after equipment was stolen from their van.
Bradford covers band Psychoslinkys had driven to Sheffield for a concert when they discovered the theft.
Singer and guitarist Mick Brown said the thieves managed to get in and out of the van, which was parked in Whitebottoms, Wyke, without leaving any trace of a break-in. Police are investigating.
The three-piece, previously known as Daisycutter and Mr Mak, noticed the equipment was missing after they started unloading the van in Sheffield.
Lead singer and guitarist Mr Brown, 36, of Horton Bank Top, said: “Me and the bass player were close to being sick – we just started thinking ‘what are we going to do to carry on?’ because we have a lot of weddings and things like that booked in and we don’t like to let people down.
“It just makes you worry about everything that you have worked so hard for all these years. Me and Andy have worked together for 23 years and drummer Wayne Denny has been with us on-and-off for 23 years as well.
“This is our only income really. We have now got all this equipment to replace because unfortunately all of the stuff that was stolen was not insured. We reckon it’s about £6,000 of equipment.”
