Enhanced sports facilities have opened at the new University Academy Keighley campus.
Schools and members of the community were invited to the event at the running track on Saturday.
As well as a main focus on athletics, the event included orienteering, football shooting and problem solving. The day was organised by students from Leeds Carnegie University as part of their Sports Business and Sports Development degree course, in conjunction with Keighley & Craven Athletic Club.
The opening was carried out by Angela Woodcock, whose late husband John was a driving force behind athletics in the Bradford and Keighley area.
The sports facilities will be used by the two schools due to be based in the complex, University Academy Keighley and Beechcliffe Special School. But the intention is that they will also be open to the community.
