Plans are well under way for this year’s Keighley Show.
Organisers of the agricultural extravaganza at Marley are now appealing for financial support from individuals and businesses.
The cost of staging the event, now in its 54th year, is in excess of £30,000.
“We do not receive any funding or grants and are totally reliant on ticket sales, sponsorship and revenue from exhibitors and trade stands,” said a spokesman.
“Sponsorship opportunities start from as little as £20 and can be used to support any part of the show of your choice.”
Sponsors will receive at least two free tickets to the event, on September 3, and could have their details included in the schedule.
The show committee is also on the lookout for new trade stands.
“We have opportunities for outdoor stands, with or without marquee hire, together with spaces in an indoor craft and produce marquee for those businesses or individuals demonstrating, making or selling their own products,” said the spokesman.
Anyone interested in offering sponsorship or booking a stand should visit keighleyshow.co.uk, e-mail secretary@keighleyshow.co.uk or phone (01535) 633852.
