A nursery at Farfield Primary School in Reevy Crescent, Buttershaw, Bradford, has undergone a radical transformation, thanks to a refurbishment to the tune of £250,000.
Head teacher Clare Daddy said the school had to work with the Early Years team at Bradford Council for two years before it was able to carry out the refurbishment.
She said: “We have had new flooring, new heating, a new roof, a new design of the interior and all the outdoor play area has been redeveloped as well. The previous roof was leaking and was in a state of disrepair. It really wasn’t meeting the needs of the children, so we fought for it.”
Officials at Education Bradford and Bradford Council were on hand for the reopening.
