Cleckheaton and Spenborough Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society is bringing three episodes from classic sitcom Fawlty Towers to the stage next week.

High jinks involving Basil, Manuel, Sybil, Polly and the Major will unfold in The Builders in which, when the hotel lobby is in need of a facelift, Basil goes behind Sybil’s back for the lowest quote. In The Hotel Inspectors, Basil hears that an inspector is in the area, just after he has been exceptionally rude to a guest. The Germans sees Sybil laid up in hospital while Basil tells a group of German tourists the ‘truth’ about the Fatherland.
