Mobile library services are due to tour the sites of the five Bradford libraries listed for closure under Bradford Council spending cuts.
The Council could not give precise dates but said the services would be visiting Denholme, Wrose, Heaton, Addingham and Wilsden libraries soon.
Tony Stephens, the Council’s assistant director for culture and tourism, said: “Mobile libraries are visiting all the sites which have been earmarked for the withdrawal of funding.
“The visits will inform the discussions being undertaken between the library service and interested parties in developing alternative library arrangements.”
The libraries are due to shut to save £70,000 on June 30 and no alternative ways of keeping the libraries open has been agreed, he said.
