Pupils at a Bradford primary school have been urged to play safely while gas engineers work nearby.
Northern Gas Networks is working with Fagley Primary pupils to encourage them to steer clear of gas mains upgrade road works.
The £327,000 project involves laying a new pipe in Falsgrave Avenue, Fencote Crescent, Flawith Drive, Flinton Grove, Folkton Holme, Foston Lane, Fulford Walk, St Clare’s Avenue, Bayswater Grove and Fagley Croft. Work started in early April and is expected to be complete by the end of June.
The school has been visited by customer liaison officer Laura Shaw who has talked to pupils about safety, shown them examples of barriers and equipment, and explained what the roadworks are about.
