A 19-year-old man was due to appear at Leeds Crown Court today, charged with the murder of Peter Brocklesby, who was stabbed to death in Cleckheaton.
Richard Oldroyd, of Great Pond Street, Ravensthorpe, was remanded in custody yesterday when he appeared before magistrates in Dewsbury.
Five other people arrested in connection with Mr Brocklesby’s death have been released without charge.
Detectives believe the 50-year-old, who lived nearby, was stabbed after an altercation outside a house party in Brooklyn Road shortly before 1am last Saturday.
