Artist Bob Thomson has an exhibition of pastel paintings running at Thornton’s South Square Gallery.
Called Sid, Bert And Friends, it’s described as a study into the lost art of looking.
“It engages with the world of the spectator and the spectacle, and reminds us of a time when we had the time to stand and stare,” says Bob.
Also on at the gallery is an exhibition by artist Conrad Atkinson called Dreams Of Transience, Hopes Of Permanence.
Both exhibitions run until May 29.
