Folk singer Rodney Branigan is coming to Bradford this month.
Rodney, whose music is described as ‘progressive folk-fusion’, is touring the country with folk act Show Of Hands ahead of the release of new single She Bled.
Rodney blends rock, folk, flamenco, madrigal, classical, bluegrass and jazz. Many of his tunes are instrumentals, with a thumping power, and the vocal pieces are equally as compelling.
Playing three instruments at once – resting one guitar against his knee, another vertically against his other leg and a tambourine under his foot – he produces the sound of a full band.
l Rodney Branigan is at the Topic Folk Club in Bradford on Thursday, May 26.
