Dance outfit Chase and Status and rising rap star Wretch 32 have joined the line-up for this year’s Bingley Music Live festival.
They will be joining Maximo Park, Feeder and Eliza Doolittle at the Myrtle Park event from Friday, September 2, to Sunday, September 4.
New York hip hop/rock trio the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, whose biggest hits include Scooby Snacks and Love Unlimited, have also been lined up to headline the free Friday show.
Chase and Status are an electronic production duo from London consisting of Saul Milton, aka Chase, and Will Kennard, aka Status.
They have released a new single, Time, featuring Delilah, following from the success of End Credits and Against All Odds.
Wretch 32, of Tottenham, London, has enjoyed chart success after he released his debut single in January. The 26-year-old, real name Jermaine Scott, describes himself as “the new don of British hip-hop”.
His single Unorthodox reached number two in the charts.
The two acts are the latest to be announced by Bradford Council with more announcements to be made in the coming weeks.
Weekend tickets to the festival are priced £35 plus a booking fee and are available online via the Bingley Music Live website bingleymusiclive.com/tickets.php.
