Comics Dylan Moran, Freddie Starr and Mark Thomas will be among the funnymen tickling ribs in the district as part of a sizzling summer season of comedy.
The Bradford Theatres season, ranging from old-school comedy to rising stand-up talent, starts next week and runs to July, at St George’s Hall, the Alhambra Studio and King’s Hall in Ilkley.
Jongleurs Comedy On The Road continues its trip across the country, arriving at St George’s Hall next Thursday.
The show, featuring some of the best acts on the comedy circuit, returns to the venue in July, and will also be at King’s Hall in June and July.
Star of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, and an Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, Imran Yusuf brings his eagerly-awaited debut tour to the Alhambra Studio next Friday.
Irish comic Dylan Moran, star of films such as Shaun Of The Dead and TV sitcom Black Books, brings his new show Yeah, Yeah to St George’s Hall.
His musings on ageing, religion, having children and relationships intertwine with his skewed outlook on the general absurdities of life.
Freddie Starr is back in Bradford next month, as part of his Comeback Tour. The new show sees Freddie showcasing some of his most popular impressions along with brand new sketches.
Dubbed ‘the James Herriot of schools’ best-selling author, radio and TV personality and raconteur Gervase Phinn will be at King’s Hall, Ilkley, while Paul Chowdhry’s Not PC show comes to St George’s Hall.
Mark Thomas’s new show, Extreme Rambling: Walking The Wall, comes to The Alhambra Studio. Never one to take the easy option, political comic Mark decided to go rambling in the Middle East and walked the entire length of the Israeli Separation Barrier, crossing between the Israeli and the Palestinian side.
