Schoolgirl Daisy Watkiss, the youngest DJ in the country, will be featured on Blue Peter next week.
Researchers from the children’s TV programme first discovered nine-year-old Daisy when she applied for one of the show’s coveted badges. Her popularity has since grown and she was filmed at the tiny community radio station studio.
Now the footage will be shown on Blue Peter on Tuesday.
Daisy who lives in Cross Hills and is a pupil at Kildwick School, broadcasts a weekly show, Crazy Daisy’s Lazy Saturday, on Drystone Radio 106.9 FM.
