Lee Holmes and Nathan Doyle signed on for two more months with City and declared: It's great to feel wanted.
The Derby pair have extended their loan deals which will now keep them at Valley Parade until January 1.
That takes them up to the same limit as David Graham and Ben Parker and means they are eligible to play in another nine league games beyond the original date.
The former England under-19 internationals have both made an impact in City's impressive start to the season and Colin Todd hailed the news as a major boost for their team-mates as well as the fans.
"This sends out the right message that we are trying to go forward," he said. "We've got something going at the football club and I don't want to break that up.
"The dressing room is brilliant at the moment and the other lads would be very disappointed if it got to November and we had to let the two of them go.
"The supporters have also seen what contribution Lee and Nathan have made.
"They are both great characters despite being only young lads and have that something about them. You would have thought they'd been our players all the time because they have fitted in so well.
"Lee Holmes is an exciting player and has given us another dimension on the left side while Nathan came through a tough baptism against Bristol City at centre back and has done really well playing as a right back."
With their immediate future now settled, Holmes reckons that will translate into even better form on the pitch.
He said: "We're both playing with a smile on our faces which definitely helps you play to the best of your ability.
"It's nice to get everything sorted but I think it was always going to happen. To be wanted somewhere is great and the gaffer made it clear he was pleased with what we've done so far and was really keen to keep us.
"We're happy to be here and hopefully we can take that on to the pitch as we have been doing and help Bradford reach their potential.
"The squad is very bare and if we got any injuries we'd be struggling a bit but if everyone stays fit I think we've got a great chance.
"The last game was a bit loose in a few areas but we got another point and hopefully we can keep it going at Brentford on Saturday."
August player of the month Doyle added: "It's always good to sign for a club where you're wanted.
"It's nice we've got a long period of time to get settled and I'm sure it will help us play better."
