To succeed we must believe in ourselves. Massive Coalition cuts mean the district can’t rely on the Government to sort out the mess left by years of Conservative mis-management, incompetence and failure. The future lies in our own hands.

Wishing, hoping and empty promises deliver nothing. We need the hard work, dedication and belief that Labour brings to the Council.

Our top priorities are education, jobs and the economy, the city centre, supporting vulnerable people, housing and fighting crime.

We’ve defended services that matter most, Sure Start, home care and protecting children. We’ve minimised voluntary sector cuts, secured the future of PCSOs and invested in special schools, the city centre and the economy. Everyone must understand that rights come with obligations; challenging unacceptable behaviour is a top priority.

We’ll harness the grit, innovation and enterprise of local people in building confidence in Bradford as somewhere to live and do busi-ness.

Hardworking Labour councillors are your voice in tough times, getting on with the job, restoring pride and protecting services that matter most to people whoever they are, wherever they live.

We believe in this district, we care about its future and have faith in its people. Vote Labour on May 5.
