A major roadworks scheme is set to force the closure of a busy Bradford street.
Residents in Little Horton have been warned of four days of traffic disruption.
From Tuesday until Friday, a section of Southfield Road – between its junctions with Little Horton Lane and Mitton Street – will be closed to ensure workers carrying out the project can operate in safety.
Julian Jackson, Bradford Council’s assistant director for planning, transportation and highways, said: “We regret any disruption caused by the closure, but we hope traffic will be lighter, due to the schools being closed for the Easter holiday. We are sure everyone will enjoy the benefits of a safer and clearer junction.”
The main diversion route for traffic will be Little Horton Lane, Senior Way and Manchester Road.
