Concerns have been raised by a councillor about potential damage to a Bradford park after travellers set up camp there.
About 12 caravans have moved on to Knowles Lane Park, also known as Knowles Recreation Ground, in Holme Wood.
Councillor John Ruding (Lab, Tong) said their arrival was especially worrying as £50,000 of ward money had been allocated to be spent on enhancing the park.
“All this work is ongoing and we are concerned there may be some damage to that,” he said.
“We have urged the Council to make the necessary provisions to get them removed as soon as possible. Due to the bank holiday it may take longer."
