A one-off 1930s car was brought all the way from the Scottish Orkney Islands to be worked on by renowned car restorer Alastair Naylor and his team in Baildon.
Work has been taking place on the 1934 MG KN Magnette since it was delivered by its owner John Livitt late last year.
The car was originally built by a friend of Mr Livitt’s family, Arthur Luckett, in Bristol.
Mr Naylor said the car was unique as it featured a K-Type chassis with an N-Type engine.
He said: “The car was last on the road in 1970 and it has effectively lain dormant since that time.
“Some people look on it as quite a rare car. Around that time there were quite a lot of one-offs because people would buy a chassis and do it up to their own specification.”
Mr Naylor said a restoration of this kind could take between 18 months and two years.
