Rising stand-up comedian Paul Chowdhry has embarked on his debut UK tour and is coming to Bradford.
The critically-acclaimed comic’s show, Not PC, looks at “the funny side of miscommunication, generation gaps, everyday racism and ignorance”.
Paul challenges taboo subjects, including his own take on multicultural Britain, and his delivery is punctuated by impressive mimicry.
“I’ve built up a loyal following on the underground scene and am looking forward to my first official UK tour,” he says.
“This show is for anyone who loves raw stand-up comedy. You will leave with food for thought as you go to a takeaway on the way home.”
Paul has appeared in Channel 4’s Stand-up For The Week and Comedy Central’s Comedy Store Specials, and is in new film Swinging With The Finkles, starring Martin Freeman.
* Paul Chowdhry is at St George’s Hall on June 18. For tickets, ring (01274) 432000.
