Members of Bradford’s Jewish community gathered last night to celebrate the Passover festival.
A service was held, with singing and reading from the Haggadah text, and a meal was served at the Bradford Reform Synagogue, in Bowland Street, Manningham.
The annual festival, which has been celebrated since about 1300 BC, remembers the liberation of Jews led out of Egypt by Moses.
Synagogue member Stan Solomons described the festival as a “happy occasion” .
