The new Bradford Amateur Theatre network, set up following a £5,000 grant from Bradford Council and BCreative, is launching its website at a special event next month.
The network is aimed at encouraging, promoting and celebrating the district’s amateur entertainment scene. Its website will include information for local societies. More content will be revealed over drinks and a light buffet at Bingley Little Theatre on Sunday, May 1, at 12.30pm. New members of the network are invited to attend.
“The meeting will be informal,” says committee member Sam Collier. “Anyone interested is welcome to come and find out more about what BAT is doing and what it can do for member societies and groups. Membership is free.”
