A community cycling scheme is counting the cost after being targeted by thieves for the second time in a month.
Six bikes belonging to a project run by national cycling organisation CTC were stolen from a container at Salts Sports Association in Victoria Road, Saltaire, overnight on Saturday.
Extra security measures had been put in place following the theft of three bikes four weeks ago.
Community cycling development officer Ginny Leonard said: “I was so angry because we are trying to do so much for the community.”
The club bar and a container storing football equipment were also targeted during the break-in at Salts Sports Association.
An Airedale and North Bradford Police spokesman said the haul of stolen goods included two Giant mountain bikes and a Carrera bike. Anyone who is offered them for sale in the area has been urged to contact the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team on (01274) 537454.
