A Shipley primary school has been judged “good” following its latest Ofsted inspection.
Inspectors found Low Ash Primary School, in Wrose Road, Shipley, to have many strengths, while pupils “enjoy school and consider themselves as ambassadors for Low Ash”.
The inspection team found the school provides a “safe and welcoming environment where pupils feel valued” and “a wide range of partnership activities” made a strong contribution to pupils’ good achievement and well-being.
The report identifies “positive relationships” and “strong links” with parents and carers, while the school gives a high priority to the safety of pupils and holds a “deep commitment to equal opportunities for all.”
Head teacher Sarah Thornton said: “We are delighted with this good report as it reflects how far the school has moved since its last inspection in 2008 as a result of the ambition, hard work and determination of staff, governors, pupils and parents and carers.”
The report identified the “imaginative opportunities for learning” and “extremely broad range of enrichment experiences” provided by the school.
