A blaze at a house in Heaton, Bradford started when a pile of wood in a back garden caught fire last night.
The flames spread to the semi-detached house in Chellow Grange Road, damaging the back of the property.
The occupants evacuated the house on seeing the fire and were outside the property when firefighters arrived at about 11pm.
A liquid petroleum gas cylinder in the garden was also involved in the blaze. A spokesman for Fairweather Green fire station said he believed the fire was started deliberately.
